In order to seek illegal benefits, on July 8 and July 16, 2022, during the process of driving a tanker to transport gasoline, Tang Moumou stole gasoline by drawing part of the gasoline from the tanker and adding the same weight of methanol instead, stealing a total of 6 tons twice, with a value of 46590 yuan. The case was prosecuted by the Kenli District Procuratorate for theft. On January 31, 2024, the Kenli District Court made a first-instance verdict. Tang Moumou was sentenced to one year and three months in prison and fined 6000 yuan.

Zhang Moumou, Yang Moumou and Wei Moumou are engaged in the hazardous chemicals transportation industry in partnership. From May to July 2023, in order to seek illegal benefits, under the command and arrangement of Zhang Moumou, the three guided the driver to drive the tanker to a courtyard in a village in Hebei Province leased by Zhang Moumou during the transportation of gasoline. Inside, the three people drew part of the gasoline from the tanker and added the same weight of methanol to steal gasoline many times. Zhang Moumou participated in 27 thefts worth more than 930000 yuan, Yang Moumou participated in 13 thefts worth more than 430000 yuan, and Wei Moumou participated in 5 thefts worth more than 170000 yuan. The case was prosecuted by the Kenli District Procuratorate for theft and is now being heard in court.
